Pest control software built around the treatment visit.
The first treatment is rarely the last one. Foldrule keeps the initial service, the follow ups, the notes about what you did and the invoice on one job, tied to the property they all happened at.
A day of booked stops and one call you did not plan for.
Interior, perimeter, attic, crawl space. Ants in the spring, wasps in July, mice when it turns cold. Most stops are on the calendar days ahead and most of them need a follow up a couple of weeks out. The commercial accounts want a record of every visit, and the homeowner wants to know why the ants came back.
- Treatment visits booked days or weeks ahead
- A follow up on nearly every initial service
- A service record per property that someone may ask to see
- Wasp and rodent calls dropped into the middle of the day
The visit record is what they pay for
A property manager emails in March asking what you did at the Elm Street building last August, and on which dates, because the roaches are back and her board wants an answer by Friday. For that client the treatment was half the job. The other half is being able to show you were there on the fourteenth and to pull up the photo of the gap you sealed behind the dishwasher. When you look at pest control software, check that the tech’s checklist, note and photos stay on the visit and on the property long after the invoice is paid.
Every visit on the record for that property.
The property carries its own history: what was treated, when you were there, the notes and the photos. Whoever takes the next visit reads what the last tech wrote instead of calling them from the driveway.
- Visit history kept per property, not per invoice
- Notes and checklists filled in on site
- Photos of the activity and of the treated area
- One client with several properties for commercial accounts
Follow ups scheduled on the same job.
Add the follow up visit when you finish the first treatment and put it on the calendar right there. It sits on the same job, so a course of treatment reads as one thing instead of four unrelated tickets.
- Initial service and follow ups on one job
- Each visit dated and assigned to a member
- Marked complete in the field, with photos
- You place the dates yourself, nothing is booked automatically
The tech works offline and closes the visit there.
Crawl spaces and back yards are where signal dies. The job sheet, the checklist and the camera keep working, and everything syncs the moment the phone is back on a network.
- Offline job sheets and checklists
- Photos attached to the visit they came from
- Per photo control of what the customer sees
- Appointment and on my way texts with your business name in them
Invoice at the door, or bill the account.
Invoice a single treatment on the spot, or bill the job once the follow ups are done. Tax comes from the rate you set on that property, and service paid for ahead sits as client credit until the visits use it up.
- Invoice per visit or per job
- Sales tax from the service address
- Prepayment held as client credit
- Card, bank transfer, cash, check, Zelle, Venmo and e-Transfer

Pest control questions.
Straight answers about what Foldrule does and does not do at launch.
Can Foldrule run a quarterly service automatically?
Not at launch. You schedule each visit yourself, quarterly ones included, and a job holds as many visits as the plan calls for. Automatic recurring schedules come after launch.
Does it build the driving order for the day?
No. There is no route optimization in Foldrule. You set the order of the visits and each tech sees their own day in the mobile app.
Where do I keep what I applied and where I applied it?
On the visit. Checklists, notes and photos live on the visit and stay attached to the property, so the service record for an address is in one place. Foldrule is not a pesticide reporting system, so state filings stay with whatever you use for that now.
My commercial account has twelve locations. Is that twelve clients?
No, it is one client with twelve properties. Each has its own address, contacts and tax rate, and every visit, photo and invoice hangs off the right one.
Can the customer see the photos from a visit?
Only the ones you choose. Photos are controlled one by one, so a shot of heavy activity can stay internal while the cleaned up area goes to the customer portal.
Is there a pest control price book?
Not a seeded one. You build your own items and prices, and when you switch from your current software we move that catalog and your client list across for free.
