Job scheduling that shows the whole day at once
A job is approved work. A visit is one trip to the property. Foldrule keeps both in one place, so you can see who is where today and what still needs a slot.
The day view, one column per person
Hours run down the side, your members run across the top, and every visit sits where it belongs. Today is highlighted and a line marks the current hour.
Click a visit and the editor opens beside the calendar. The calendar never disappears while you work.

Drag to reschedule, drop to assign
Move a block down the column to change the time. Move it sideways to change who is going. Both happen in one gesture, and undo sits there for ten seconds in case you grabbed the wrong one.
Overlaps are allowed. If you double book someone on purpose, Foldrule warns you and then gets out of the way.

Nothing falls off the edge of the calendar
Approved work with no date lives in a tray on every calendar view, oldest first, with a count on it. Drag one onto a day and it is scheduled and assigned in the same move.
Jobs you put on hold keep their visits in their own part of the tray until you pick them back up.

What your crew sees
A worker opens the phone and sees today in time order, with the next visit expanded and four buttons on it: on my way, navigate, call, start. Access notes, the gate code and the dog, sit with the address.
Every change to their day sends one notification, not five. Edits made inside two minutes arrive as one message with the final time.

Questions about scheduling
What the calendar does at launch, and what it does not.
Can I put more than one person on a visit?
Yes. A visit takes any number of assignees, and you can save a crew so three people go on in one tap. The visit then shows in each of their columns.
What happens when I move a visit?
The people on it get one notification with the new time. If you already told the customer a window, Foldrule offers to send them the update. Nothing goes out during the undo window.
Does the crew need signal?
No. The mobile app keeps the day on the phone and queues what the worker does. On my way, start and complete all go through when the phone finds a connection.
Is there route optimization?
Not at launch. There is a map view with a pin for each visit, numbered by start time, so you can see the shape of the day and order it yourself.
Can a worker see everyone else’s schedule?
Only if you turn that setting on. By default a worker sees their own visits, and nothing on the calendar is draggable for them.
Can I print a day sheet?
You can export the list view for any date range as a CSV and print that. A formatted day sheet comes later.
